not canvas but I love them
Love the midrise, love the barrel leg, just the right amount of stretch to bending and squatting ( I bought them for gardening). But canvas? I don't think so... they seem like poplin to me. You will see a number of reviewers refer to their lightweight... yes, it's nice but not a feature of canvas. So don't buy these if you are looking for work pants but for casual wear, I'm enjoying them.
