Great summer shorts
Great style - a little heavier material than other shorts, and they fit well, They are a good length for my husband who is almost 5’11”, and along with loops for a belt, they have a tab with two buttons on each side of waist for adjustment,

Why not 100% Cotton? Why so Narrow Legs??
Decent shorts but the NARROW leg "fit" is not for me. My bad for not looking closely enough at the photo.
Even if these shorts had the same (LARGER) width as with all of the other Bean 100% cotton shorts I own that age well with wear (but are no longer available) I'd still be RETURNING them due to the small but NOTICEABLE (and not in a positive way) amount of elastane ("drill baby, drill!!) in the fabric.
I hardly purchase ANY clothes from Bean as it has jumped the shark and predominantly offers "stretch" products. I prefer 100% cotton that, once again, age well with wear. Nylon doesn't do this at all.
That said, if one likes shorts with TIGHT short legs along with some funky waist buttons allowing one to tighten the waist (I'd prefer if the buttons were relocated to the rear pockets!!) and a relatively heavy manipulated cotton fabric, these shorts should fit the bill.
