Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cosmic Bean What I love about what L.L.Bean so often excels at is developing products that show plenty of common sense in the execution of their offerings. People have various kinds of tote bags they need, and sometimes I want those other kinds of tote bags too, but these particular tote bags hit the sweet spot in terms of certain criteria I've been looking for. I'm currently using some for storage purposes. I bought these in every size to try them out. They are light weight but seem strong enough for many uses. They do seem water resistant. I hope to buy more for numerous other uses I can think of. My only maybe wish is (if it didn't interfere with the simple genius of the bag), is that it contain an inner zip pocket. I know that some may prefer that it tidy up and roll up in the zip pocket as it does now. I know some may find that's a key feature they desire, and that's understandable. L.L. Bean, I just love it when you come up with a practical product that somehow brings a little joy into the world with its simple utilitarian, but brimming with human made beauty times Zen magic---and it makes daily life a little easier.
