Product Details
Meet our Lightweight Field Coat, a fresh take on our timeless Field Coat for a new generation. Features the same iconic rugged look and classic details as the original, with a lighter weight and well-loved vintage look.
Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. We love timeless fall classics, but a timeless and seasonless classic is even better.

Decent Field Coat
I got a 2xl and it fit very nicely in the shoulders and hips. I love the corduroy collar and cuff lining. The coat material itself feels and looks a little cheap and it has no lining which makes it stick to clothing when you put it on or take it off. The buttons are inexplicably hard to button and unbutton. So, not the field coat of my dreams but it will do for now.

Love this jacket, but…
This jacket is awesome, and great quality, but please offer a lined or partially lined version! The underside of the fabric shows when the jacket is unbuttoned and it looks very cheap. I like that it’s lightweight, but please at least line the front section so the underside of the fabric doesn’t show.
