Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. Extremely disappointed
I was gifted this coat . I have always wanted one for fall. So disappointed no lining .No way this would keep you warm in the fall here in Maine. Very poor quality. L. L. Bean sure has gone down hill in quality. I returned to the gifter.

I bought this same jacket, same color probably 16+ years ago. Imagine my delight when I saw it was stil available.,I’ve wore it to work, walk, go to Europe and have loved it so much
