Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. Great Lightweight Jacket
I've just received this jacket and can't wait to wear it. The mineral blue color is really nice, the canvas fabric is lightweight and soft. The sizing is generous without being too oversized. There's room for a bulky sweater but it isn't too large if worn with a thinner shirt.
There is no lining which is great here in the south, it will be a 3 season jacket here.
The jacket description is accurate and the quality is superb.

Great color; runs very big
I ordered this jacket because I really like the light teal color, which is as pictured and very nice. I ordered a petite small, my usual size, but it was huge. I returned it for that reason. Fortunately, there was still a petite x-small available in light teal (and on sale) and I ordered it. The x-small fit much better with room to spare. I have never worn an x-small in anything, so be aware that this coat runs very large. Order at least one size down.

Returned and replaced with barn coat
Returned this item. Did not like the fact that they are not lined. Purchased the barn coat instead in dusty rose color. Love the barn coat!
