Disappointing
Had I noticed the note of caution regarding the fit of this dress, I may not have ordered it even though the slender model flattered it. The entire dress is huge - the bodice especially, as well as the fullness of the dress. I could not pull the draw string tight enough to come close to fitting. I have ordered extra small clothing from Bean over the years and have always been pleased with the fit and quality. This is the second item I have recently ordered and returned because of the too large fit.

nice summer fabric, but oversized and baggy at top
Oddly I bought a large dress which turned out too tight, and this medium dress turned out to be too large. The fabric would have been nice for hot weather, darn! Also the waistline was too high for my body. The armholes gapped out quite a bit. Maybe for a short waisted person with a big bust, this would work, but not for me. I suggest you order down a size and also only order if you want a higher waistline dress.
