Sweatpants
First off I have been a loyal customer for years. I wear your clothes almost exclusively. I recently ordered sweat pants because my current pair has completely worn out after probably two seasons of wear. Loved them.
So when I hoped to replace them I was very disappointed to learn they had changed dramatically.
Most important the zippered fly…gone!
Fortunately they are still mostly cotton and not the stretch fabric that seems to be on many of today’s clothing. I prefer100 % cotton clothing when ever possible. It’s just plain more comfortable from my perspective!!
Your new sweat pants also feature tapered legs and a cheap back pocket. The previous pair I loved so much had a zippered back pocket.
I returned them for a refund.
Please consider bringing back sweatpants like the old standard you used to stock. I’ll buy a spare pair next time.

Super cozy but might shrink
I am a woman but find that LL Bean women's sweatpants never fit quite right and was thrilled to find these fit perfectly!! They are thick and warm and feel very durable. Then I washed them and they got about an inch shorter, which is a bummer. They are so comfy though that I will keep wearing them and will absolutely buy another pair in a longer size if they every come back in stock!

very nice features
I recently bought these sweatpants for my husband. I ordered 28" inseam and when they arrived I thought they looked short but the reviews I read said they were true to size so I didn't measure. My mistake!! I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry. When my husband tried them on they were too short. Thankfully, I can wear them as I'm 5'2". I've been buying our clothes from L.L.Bean for years and this is the first item I've been disappointed in as far as size. I tried to order the 30 inch inseam in medium and they are no longer available.

Exterior of fabric feels like polyester
When I opened the package the exterior of these sweatpants felt like polyester NOT cotton. They are uncomfortable to the touch of this old guy, I still have several pairs of my old style Bean's sweatpants which feel like soft, cozy cotton. I am returning the new sweats to my local store so I can have a store associate feel the difference in the new and old fabrics.
