Lightweight Warmth
Great find, very warm, not heavy, not itchy. I like that it isn’t too long and sits right at the hip, so it doesn’t bunch up when I’m driving or sitting. I often choose petite tops for their shorter lengths. Ideal under a coat or with a down vest - New England weather can be fickle.

Great color and warmth..
I love this sweater, the color and that it is wool. It is warm, very comfortable and just loose enough in fit that I can wear a t-neck shirt under it. The only drawback is the neck fits just snug enough that it is a bit scratchy, thus the t-neck. I am truly happy with this sweater especially when the temperatures were below zero with windchill.

a bit odd fitting, but warm
fits large over all, but small in the shoulders and sleeve length. it would have been nice if the exterior shoulder pads actually covered the whole shoulder, so it's not a shooting cosplay. it is warm.

Women's Maine Guide Sweater is Top Knotch!
Women's Maine Guide sweater is the perfect warmth without all the bulk. I am 5ft 7 and weigh between 125-130lbs. With the temperatures we are seeing this winter in the Northeast ( -5 today)... I can count on LLBEAN clothing to layer up and keep me dry and toasty all winter long! Great sweater for outdoorsy gals!

Super warm
I love this sweater. Super warm and dare i say flattering. It’s is pretty tight getting over your head, but that adds to the warmth around your neck. It says to hand wash it but i have been putting it on the delicate cycle in my washing machine in cold water and it’s been fine.

Does anyone actually wear wool next to their skin?
I thought it was understood, at least by those of us in northern climes, that wool is itchy, but nothing beats it for warmth. Hence, you should be wearing a layer between your skin and the wool.
