I would avoid this belt.
The strap is far too rigid for the buckle. As a result, the belt cannot be tightened or loosened without taking it off. Even then it is very hard to adjust. I bought a similar belt from another company and am using that one instead.

Terrible design. If you are a 34-35 waist avoid.
Awkward design. Must remove belt entirely to adjust. Thin plastic buckle is likely to break. Size 34-35 waist but due to the way it is sized S/M is barely long enough and the L/XL is way too long. Poor quality from LL Bean.

Size description wrong.
I have a 36 inch waist. Size chart recommends lg/xl belt. It wraps around my waist to my spine. No way to shorten it but it's comfortable and durable. I also like the buckle.
