This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Bizarre fit, good quality material
The fit really is a bit strange but the quality of the flannel and construction of the shirt is good. I’ve only worn it a few times so I can’t speak to how it holds up after multiple washes. It very short in the front so that I can just barely tuck it in—the back is somewhat longer. The fit is very boxy and not especially flattering for a small framed person. The chest pockets are not scaled down so they look outsized on the shirt front. I first ordered a petite small but it was much too large (wide) for me. The extra small fits somewhat better. The material is very warm in our cold winters so that’s why I’m keeping it.

Great Classic Flannel
Very nice flannel of which I have purchased a several through the years. I miss the button down collar but otherwise the quality is still there. Washes beautifully with very little, if any shrinkage.
