Well, I put it on again
I have the lighter color of this and really love the fabric and quality of the construction. You get so much attention to detail in LLBean clothing, I really like that. Full disclosure a more fitted style would look better on me, but I have a similar shirt with a more flattering fit from another well known brand but the quality is much lower and I prefer this one. It's a perfect lightweight layer over a tank or tshirt.

Nothing like the original
I purchased this shirt because I own an older Bean denim shirt from a couple of decades back. This one is on its way back for a refund. My old shirt is actually a soft denim with nice buttons that give it a rustic touch. The new shirt was very thin in comparison and had cheap white buttons. The sleeves were huge and I ordered a petite. Overall the quality was disappointing and the price of course has more than doubled. I am a long time Bean customer and you can do better.
