Terrible fit
I bought this sweater in a medium when I read the reviews for how loose fitting it was- such a cute pattern (got the blue pine trees) and is was way too big. Almost became a circle in the middle around the torso, cartoon-like. So I returned it and got a small. Same issue, just slightly smaller. So sad- the sweater looked so dumpy and misshapen. I’ve never had this happen before- almost purposefully rounded or ballooned out around the waist, not just a loose fit or baggy cut. Not doing a 3 strikes out and just did a full refund this time. I expected a lot more for the base price, which I did pay the first go around.

Sizing Way too Big!
I just purchased this Nostalgic Sweater in the Pine Tree Intarsia, size small. I am 5' 5'' tall and weigh 125-130 lbs. I am very disappointed because I loved this sweater and wanted to keep it but it was sooo HUGE.I even thought about shrinking it but was afraid I would ruin it. Sadly, when I tried to re-order it in an Xtra Small they were sold out! I have been a devoted long time customer and have never written about a problem with LLBean clothing. but I felt this sizing was so off that it was worth writing about.

gorgeous and HUGE
gorgeous and HUGE. I have broad shoulders and like my sweaters a little big so I can layer. I usually order a large. I am a 5'9" 160lb size 10. I ordered a medium and a small would have been just fine.

Cutest Sweater...But Size Down!
This is a high quality sweater. Cute motifs to choose from - warm and comfy! This sweater runs two sizes too big - unless you like a really oversized look. I am usually an XL and the Medium fits well with extra room. Looking forward to cruising town and relaxing during the holidays in this sweater.
