Definitely runs BIG! But it's cute.
I am usually an XL/XXL/1X, especially in something like a sweater that you don't want to be too clingy. I read the reviews, held my breath, and ordered a L, and it fits perfectly. It is still a little roomy, bit it fits the way I would have expected my usual size to fit. My measurements are around 45 bust and 35 waist. I put the fit is "too large" because it is too large for an L, but it fits me fine.

Nice but runs big
Nice! Definitely order 2 sizes down, makes it shorter, but I tugged it gently when wet and better length. Seems like it will be soft and warm.
