Sturdy and supportive
My husband likes these slippers because of the sturdiness and support they give him while walking. The only thing that he doesn’t like is that he has to be careful on our carpeted stairs as the rubber that sticks out in the back of the sole catches when descending the stairs.

Dad’s Fave LL BEAN Slippers EVER.
We are a Bean Family - we own everything from Clothing, Bedding & Rugs. These Slippers are an all time fave (We buy new every year since it’s all we wear in the house year around)
My Husband who never asks for anything for Christmas ACTUALLY took a screen shot and sent to our Daughters.
He wears an 8.5 so he asked for a size 9. When he opened the box, we had a good laugh as they are GIANT compared to his other slippers. Of course that name stuck and now they will forever be called his “Giant Slippers”. They are cozy but BEST OF ALL - They are FANTASTIC for FLAT FEET. He normally has to put an insole in all of his shoes but not these. The soles are so sturdy. I hope they stick around. I have seen some other reviews that say they are tight, I think they are perfect for those who have a half size foot!
Although they can absolutely go outside, he’s wearing them only inside. They’d be perfect for getting the mail, taking the dog out etc.
Hope they go on sale and I’ll get another pair and hide them for next year!

Slippers or Shoes?
Doesn't matter- they're very comfortable. I bought these to replace a pair of mocs I returned. Initially, I was skeptical because they look like outdoor shoes, not slippers. Once I started wearing them, though, they felt like slippers on my feet. I've also worn them outside a couple of times unintentionally and they have kept my feet warm and dry.

These run tight. Order at least 1 size bigger than what you normally wear. Their kind of big and clunky but they do prevent you from stumbling

Good not great.
Solid, durable and warm with two caveats. The longer I have them the more I realize they look kinda derpy and they do not breath at all. Work from home and wear them all day and absolutely need to take them off periodically so my feet can dry. Hope to find something better for the summer months.

Bean slippers for men
For those whose left foot is smaller than their right, the left slipper is distinctly too large. Both slippers seem to be a bit too wide when selecting standard sizes (I.e. 9, 10, 11, etc.).

Half Slipper, Half Shoe
Feels more like a slip-on shoe than a slipper. The shearling lining makes it suitable for wearing without socks as a sort of indoor/outdoor slipper. These are great to just slide on to go outside to get the mail or put out the trash if there is a little snow on the ground. The are comfortable, but not as comfortable as Bean's standard Wicked Good slippers. Also, this slipper has a sole that is much thicker than the average slipper.
