not what I was expecting
Very lightweight and wouldn't survive a gust of air. I would get soaked. Light rain? The hat looks like it might be good for a drizzle at best. Wondering why it has a tie string since the rest is of such poor quality.

Water rresistant but not water proof
Cute hat, good fit. However not waterproof. Purchased this to wear to an all day volunteer event at a children's summer camp knowing it was going to rain. Repelled water for the first two hours. By hour three, my head was pretty wet. Will be returning unfortunately because I really do like it but I need better waterproofing.
