Wonderful on Icy Surfaces
I was thrilled when I received an e-mail from LL Bean featuring these boots with the Vibram sole technology and immediately ordered a pair. They are well-constructed, light weight and comfortable. I've worn them every day since I received them in late January. Winter this year in Minnesota has been a snowy, icy one. I can't emphasize enough how great these boots are on icy terrain. I am outside quite a bit with an active dog.
Several years ago, I bought an ankle-height shoe/boot with Vibram soles from LL Bean. I've worn them through many Minnesota winters and they have been great on icy surfaces. They still look like new and I frequently wear them, but have searched every year for a new style with the same sole technology. I finally found it!
I am very happy with my purchase of the NextVenture Boots with Vibram soles. I am sure I will be wearing them for years to come.

Weather Proof
Warm and water proof in snow and cold weather. Wear them 3 to 4 times a day to walk my dog. Also have not slipped on snow or ice.

My search is over!
These boots are amazing! Very comfortable and warm. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5M. I got a size 10 so I could wear thick socks in the winter and they are perfect. I think the 9.5 would’ve worked as well. They go on easily. They have a good tread so I don’t slip. Not too clunky. Highly recommend!

Good snow boots
Bought these just before big ice and snowstorms. First time wearing them was going through airports and wasn't sure how comfortable they would be. Very comfortable and good in snow. My feet stayed warm and dry.

Super comfy boots but run wide
I had high hopes for these boots, but on my narrow feet, they were far too wide, even with multiple pairs of socks. I really wanted them to work. Loved that they had Vibram soles, and the pad at the back of the heel was such a nice, comfy touch. Just something to be aware of if you have narrower than average feet. I wanted a roomy toe box, but these were too wide all the way down the side of my foot. The search for boot nirvana continues....

Looking for Ms right from
surprised by unisex sizing
I needed to replace some well fitting winter boots, so looked to LLBean. These seemed like they would be great. Unfortunately despite ordering "Women's 9M" when they came the tag says XS trek. They are wider than my husband's boot and he has relatively big feet! As I have a narrow foot, the slipping and sliding inside the boot in not something I am willing to deal with. Disappointed because it is otherwise a great boot with AMAZING traction.
