Very Comfortable And Tough Pants
These pants are very light weight and comfortable. They are also great for hiking and bicycle riding. They are gusseted too which is a big plus. I was worried about the small front pockets but the two zippered pockets in front are perfect and the zippers are in just the right place to easily use them. In my opinion these are the best ripstop pants that ll bean sells and I will buy more in the future. Be sure to order one size larger in the waist.

Are these Indonesia Sizes?
I am a 32 waist and 30 length. I always buy one size up for LL Bean, which is still hit or miss, so I bought a 33W/30L and I can't button them and they look like Capri pants. The inconsistencies in their products are ridiculous. They are made in Indonesia and the average male height in Indonesia is 5' 4" so maybe start having these made in the USA.

Pants fit nicely but one drawback is the side cargo pockets aren't long enough to zip closed with my cell phone (3 1/8" x 6 3/8") inside. Could be a deal breaker but haven't decided yet.

Sizing is terrible ! LL Bean has lost ALL QUALITY CONTROL. Sad..I’ve been an LL Bean customer for over 40 years. No two exact sizes fit the same. Pitiful.

runs a bit small
My husband appreciates the light fabric for the Southwest, and especially the zipper pockets on the legs which are big enough for his iPhone. However the waist on these was too small despite that I ordered his usual size for LLBean pants.

Waist size on green pair was 2” too small; but brown pair waist was perfect. Both colors were the SAME SIZE.
