Absolutely love this shirt! Because I want d a more fitted look, I did size down from a large to a medium. It washes well and when paired with my new LLBean linen pants and a summer necklace it’s “casual classy”!

Soft fabric but . . .
I am returning this shirt. The fabric is soft but I tried two sizes of this big shirt and both the medium (too small to button) and the large (just baggy) looked like pajama tops. The collar is not tailored. It lies like a wet paper towel.

The fabric of this shirt is soft and breatheable, which is very nice on a hot day. It is a well-made shirt that comes out of the dryer ready to wear. Since this is an LLBean shirt, you know it will be a properly finished high-quality shirt with no loose threads that need to be trimmed and no loose buttons for you re-sew. It’s perfect and its’s going to stay that way through many wash and wear cycles. . This “big shirt” is a versatile style because it can be worn as a top layer over a tank top or tee or it can look more dressed up when worn by itself too. Perfect shirt for hot weather!
So nice I bought a second one. Runs slightly large but looks nice over a tee shirt. Washes up really nicely. I washed in cold water and dried on low setting for just a few minutes and then hung to dry. No wrinkles.
