Don't purchase! Visually, these things are a very unappealing disaster. It kills me to write a negative review for an LLBEAN product, because I own a lot of their products and I'm using very pleased. I bought these because I liked the way they looked. I wanted them for lounging around the house and possibly as pajama bottoms. I ignored other's negative reviews about the material pilling. Sometimes it's worth the gamble to ignore the nitpicking reviews. I gambled and lost. They arrived looking fantastic. I live in a climate controlled house in the continental US. I sleep on normal cotton sheets. Before these things even made it to the washing machine, they were visually destroyed and unsightly. Quite embarrassing! I wore them 4 nights, and I'll attach a photo. They look nothing like the product that arrived in the mail. These are so bad, there should be a product recall. I've never owned shorts, pajamas, or boxers that have looked do poorly, so quickly. One positive. The waistband seems nice. Sadly though, I'm stuck with 2 pair!

Shorts PILL a lot
These shorts fit well and are very soft. But the major issue is they pill like crazy after the first wash. The little fuzzies are everywhere. With the price being so high, I expected better quality from LL Bean.

Pilly - Spider web-like threads
After 1st wash and thereafter, long, threads came from seams at hem and pockets. It is very annoying. Like spider web feeling on my legs. I cant see them but can feel. Putting my hands in pockets only coming out with threads entangling my hand. The naterials is pilly. After a couple washes i had to take my clothes shaver to the shorts. Otherwise, good fit and comfy.
