Great product-narrow toe bed
I loved the sneaker and the support. I did return because of the narrow toe bed. I really wish they came in a wide. If you tend to have a narrower foot, these would be an excellent choice at an incredible price.

Best shoes ever
I wear these shoes every day to walk my dog, which includes sporadic running. He's a Husky, so he's a fast walker, which means these shoes get a real workout. The shoes fit well and remain comfortable throughout these workouts.

Comfortable with custom orthotics
The Women's 1985 Mountain Classic Sneakers were not the style of sneakers that I would have worn in 1985 and aren't the style of sneakers that I would prefer 41 years later. I'm not a fan of multi-colored shoes with a distinctive athletic look and large company logos on the side. However, time changes everything, and I needed a pair roomy, comfortable shoes that would accommodate my high instep, high arches, swelling ankles, and custom orthotics to address uncomfortable overpronation. Prior to having swelling ankles and wearing custom orthotics, I wore size 6 to 6-/2 shoes and size 6-1/2 New Balance sneakers. After reading some reviews that complained about narrow toe, I sized up to a 7. The shoes come with a removeable insole and accommodate my orthotics nicely. The holes for the shoelaces are much too small, and it is a real struggle for my arthritic hands to adjust the laces. The holes need to be much larger. However, I have been able to get the laces adjusted to a point where I can get the sneakers on with a shoehorn and just tie the laces. The sneakers have plenty of room for my toes when wearing midweight socks, good padding, and are comfortable for walking. The LLBean logo on the tongue, side of the sole, and ribbon pull strap on the heel are small and not overwhelmingly noticeable. Due to lower back pain caused by spine issues, I can't evaluate the shoes for running, and I haven't worn them with the removeable insoles that came with the shoes. However, I think that I wouldn't have needed to size up if I wasn't using custom orthotics. I have occasionally had some slight balance issues when wearing the shoes, but I don't know how much of it is me and how much of it is the shoes. The teal colorway is not objectionable, but my first choice would have been all navy similar to the men's style.
