We’ll see what happens!
I purchased these hikers with some trepidations as my previous hikers, (the version that this “improved” model replaced.) that were purchased in 2018/19 are still going strong. Their durability/quality is exemplary! I have not been out on a hike with my new boots yet, that is why I have graded them a 3. They are comfortable, appear to be water resistant. But the true test will come when I take them out on a good ramble through the woods. If they hold up! I’ll gladly give them a higher score. I just hope they are up to the task!!!

Excellent boots
I bought this in 2025, but because it was a warm winter with little snow, I did not wear them much. The 2026 winter has been cold with a lot of snow, and the boots are excellent. Warm, comfortable, water resistant and good traction. Highly recommended.

Great yard boots. This is my 2nd pair that I have purchased from LL Bean. I use them multiple times a day to take our dogs out in the yard and woods behind the house. They never leak and never cracked. Just good round work shoes for any backyard activity. I recommend them highly.

Winter Weather Wonders
I got these for walking in the winter, and they were great in the recent East coast storm that gave us "snowcrete" everywhere, followed by a slow 2-week melting. Kept my feet warm and dry, with good footing on icy or wet surfaces. They're also easy to lace up and unlace, and the loop at the heel end makes it easy to pull them on.
