Finally - Plus Size pants that fit! New favorites
I recently bought the Perfect Fit tapered pants, even though I had almost given up on finding the right fit. I must have tried 50+ different pairs of pants before finding these to fit my 60+ yo pear figure. These fit in the hips without having huge legs, have a tall enough rise that it clears the hips and rests at your waist, and aren’t made for someone who is over 6ft tall. They wash well and will be my go to pants from now on. The only thing that would make them better is to have a second version with an upgraded fabric for dressier occasions.

My favorite slacks of all time
I have worn LL Bean's Original Perfect Fit pants for many years. Not just one pair the whole time! (Although they ARE made so well that they last for years) They are SO comfortable, and they look so nice. (I do always wear tops that are not tucked in, so the elastic doesn't show.) One thing you can absolutely count on: the knees on these pants will never go baggy on you. That has never happened to any pair I've ever worn. The pockets are also a great size; I never lose my phone out of the pocket.

The fit was too high waisted for me. The fabric was stiff feeling and wrinkled more than expected when I washed them.

Poor quality elastic for waistband
Over the past few years I have bought five pairs of these pants and when they become old they become very comfortable gardening pants. My one complaint —- and this a big one — is that after six months or so the waist band elastic stretches too much. I buy better quality elastic and replace the original band. Too bad that these high quality pants use such poor quality elastic. Please note I line dry these pants — don’t use a dryer which would be hard on elastic.

Very nice but not cut the same as previous ones
My only negative comment is that the high waist is a bit too long. I have 2 other perfect fit pants in the same size but in a heavier weight and they fit perfectly. I can still wear the new ones.
