My favorite slacks of all time
I have worn LL Bean's Original Perfect Fit pants for many years. Not just one pair the whole time! (Although they ARE made so well that they last for years) They are SO comfortable, and they look so nice. (I do always wear tops that are not tucked in, so the elastic doesn't show.) One thing you can absolutely count on: the knees on these pants will never go baggy on you. That has never happened to any pair I've ever worn. The pockets are also a great size; I never lose my phone out of the pocket.

Not great
The fit was too high waisted for me. The fabric was stiff feeling and wrinkled more than expected when I washed them.

Very nice but not cut the same as previous ones
My only negative comment is that the high waist is a bit too long. I have 2 other perfect fit pants in the same size but in a heavier weight and they fit perfectly. I can still wear the new ones.

Comfort pants for travel
I bought these in navy & black for a trip to Italy, hoping I could do the trip with just these 2 pants. They fit perfect and wear comfortably. I found so many tops in my closet that work with both. I’m 5’4” and ordered small petite because I like more of an ankle length for spring/summer shoes. Such an easy pair of pants to wear either dressed up or casual!

Quality isn't what it used to be
I have been a loyal L. L. Bean customer, but over the past few years I have had a heck of a time finding clothing that fits me, especially pants. It is definitely hit or miss when it comes to the fit, and it's frustrating. I purchased these pants, same size, in two different colors. The fabric is consistent, but the fit isn't. One pair was really weird in the thighs, and the other pair was weird in the hips. Neither pair fit me. What I don't understand is how two identical pairs of pants can differ so much from color to color. That tells me that there is no quality control at the beginning of the process of making these pants. I'm just disappointed.

Disappointing Fit
I was so disappointed in the fit! I have other styles of Perfect Fit pants that I absolutely love but these left nothing to like. The waist band is not sewn down and actually too big. The hips were huge where the other styles are not. Not a smooth fit. If this is the original then I’m glad they changed it.

Perfect Fit Pants
This is my second pair of Perfect Fit Pants. If you are looking for effortless comfort, true to fit pants that can be casual as well as dressy. This should be your choice. There are many colors and sizes to choose from. Plus, they come in medium tall, which makes me very happy. Easy care fabric, pockets, and no zipper or buttons. What more could you want? I give perfect fit pants 5 stars!
