Not warm at all for cold winters
Disappointing coat purchase. Not a winter coat unless using lots of layering against very cold temps and windy weather. Advertised as “warmest”, which is misleading. Hood is huge.

Winter jacket
This jacket is so warm and what I love best is not only can you take the hood off but if you want to keep the hood but ditch the fur for winter, that is also removable. Also is longer than a standard waist length jacket which I also love.

Warm when its cold
I bought this to go on a winter trip to Alaska. I am always cold. This layered with my llbean wool long underwear and llbean wool sweater Iwas still warm in -45 at night in Artic Circle. Yes I crossed into the artic circle. My bottoms included llbean wool long underwear and llbean snow pants, wool socks from llbean and llbean women's bean boot! I was the llbean wo.an but I was warm when it was so cold! Oh and llbean gloves liner and gaiter.

Please bring back the brown color!
Great jacket! It keeps me very warm in the winter. I have it in a chocolate brown color. I’m looking to repurchase it in the same color, but sad to see it’s no longer offered in brown. Please bring back brown!

Good for a brutal winter
This parka has taken me through some seriously cold windy winter weather this season. I am very pleased with the fit and how comfortable it is. The hood in particular is quite good. The hood depth is adjustable and seals well with the parka closures. The faux fur helps with warmth. I will say that the fur is kind of floppy.
