tall, taller than tall
i am tall, i am taller than tall, it is difficult to buy tall shirts that are sold as tall shirts, that actually fit. these do. and there is an added bonus or two......... you can wash them and dry them and they don't shrink.....and they are softer than a baby's butt. great shirts.

Hope the Bacon Collar Is Gone
Seems L.L.Bean has stepped up its game once again with these tees. The more neutral summer colors for hot weather are nice to see again, especially Light Gold and Shore Heather. I also like the textured look of Deep Blue Heather, which adds a bit of an upscale appearance to the shirt rather than a plain, flat color. It would be nice to see this texture offered in other colors as well.
The shirts are much softer now, too. However, one reason I stopped buying these shirts was the "bacon collar" issue after just five washes. I'm hoping the softer material eliminates that problem. I have tees from 10 years ago that never developed a bacon collar, unlike the ones I've purchased in the last few years.
My other concern, and I've already seen others mention it, is the chemical treatment they use to repel stains. While it works well for stain resistance, on hot days the unpleasant feeling of sweat beading up on my back because the shirt can't absorb moisture is a huge drawback.
At this point, I'd give them 4 stars for cooler summer days. However, if recent posts are any indication, and it seems this same stain resistant treatment is still being used, these shirts may be a poor choice for those hot summer days. And if the bacon collar issue returns, I won't be happy. So far, though, these shirts are looking good.
