Should have listened to the reviews
These are definitely sized very small. Ignore the sizing advice, listen to the reviews. They're at least a size small. So annoyed that I'm just returning them - don't plan to shop LL Bean anymore. Slow, expensive and you have to pay to return them.

Not true to size
These shorts run small in size. I have a true 38 inch waist. I ordered a 38 and a 40 inch neither one of them fit too tight. Send them both back.
