Not the blue on the screen
Regarding the alpine blue tee: the lovely blue you see on the screen isn't close to the actual color of the tee. The tee that arrived is darker, more like navy. On the plus side, this tee is one of the few all-cotton options. Most of LL Bean tops and sweats seem to include polyester or lycra. They used to have many more all-cotton tops and sweats. Hey, LL Bean, aren't we trying to use less plastic and fewer things made with petroleum-based chemicals? You used to care about such things.

Decent, heavier weight
Substantial weight, true to size and seems like it will hold up well. Not as soft as the Pima cotton, and not as polished looking, but will probably hold up twice as long -- the Pima seems to be getting very flimsy the past couple of years. I suspect this one will soften up over time. One star off for shrinkage (buy a size up if you will put in the dryer) and for variability of sizing -- I bought two size "S" and one was bigger with longer sleeves.
