This jacket is heavier than I thought it would be. I have an older light jacket 281602. I wanted to purchase a replacement 281602 jacket to replace the 281602 jacket that I have and which was damaged over time.
It's impossible to determine the weight of a jacket without trying it on. Lesson learned -- go to the store to try a jacket before purchasing it.

the product is great. the packaging is poor. it was placed (crunched) into a small bag. it has been hanging for several weeks and is still full of wrinkles.
