Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Poor Quality
I purchased this chamois shirt for the husband for Christmas, because he loved the one I purchased a few years ago for him. Unfortunately the new shirt is not the same quality as his old shirt.......Third washing and it's all pilled, and looks horrible! Do better LL Bean!

Great shirt
I have several of Bean's chamois shirts and I love them. They are soft, warm, and comfortable, as well as good looking. And they stand up to many washings over the years. And the older I get, the more I appreciate them, especially the warm part.
