I have 3 ll bean medium chamois shirts, all bought 20 or more years ago, all perfect fit on me. This shirt, a men's medium was way too large. With sleeves down to my fingertips.

Much larger than another Large I own
I bought Large regular since that is what I have and like. This one is much larger. The old one is from El Salvador and the new one is from Sri Lanka. Is should not matter, but it makes a big difference.
