Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Chamois Men's shirt
The Chamois shirt is made with warmth in mind--thicker than the L.L. Bean flannel shirts my husband usually wears. He always wears a t-shirt underneath and it keeps him quite warm.

Amazing fabric, check the fit
These chamois flannels from LLBean are fantastic. The fabric is thick and soft unlike any other shirt I've had. They're very comfortable and cozy. The only issue is they are rathe oversized. I usually take a large, but I had to get a size medium for a regular fit which almost makes the sleeves to short. Still, it's a great shirt if you can figure out the correct size.

Fabric feels lighter than previous
I love my chamois shirts, I have bought them for years and love when the cool weather comes.
This new shirt is not as thick as they used to be even compared to the one I bought last year. These shirts are expensive and customers should expect the same quality.
