I have purchased several from LL Bean..... Originally for fly fishing.... I them all year-round. Just got back from Tahiti and wore it Jet Skiing.... really helps with keeping the sun off my face and dries quickly.

Good, not great.
This product is functional, though not as preferred as the prior hooded 'Swift River Cooling Rash Guard' which is no longer found on the Bean website - for swimming. Perhaps it performs better in other applications? I was disappointed that the hooded version of the Swift River was, apparently, discontinued. The hood, I have found, allows the product to avoid strecthing of the neck hole (or it hides it), so I am not interested in the remianing short-sleeve and long-sleeve unhooded Swift River choices. This 'Lifestyle Tee' version, to which the site kept taking me includes a much larger LL Bean advertisement on the chest, instead of the subtle brand labeling previously. It also does not have any side stitching which attracted the eye and allowed greater 'flow' vs. the body-clinging style which seemingly replaced it. Overall, it's Bean, so it's good. However, in this user's opinion, it is not 'great' like former versions.
