Our founder, L.L., first introduced genuine handsewn mocs 100 years ago in 1926, and we've made them better than ever before. We added a more flexible insole and upgraded the foam underfoot for immediate comfort right out of the box. A new leather sock liner molds to your foot over time for custom comfort and a barefoot feel. And new, high-quality leathers that start out comfy and get better the more you wear them.

Great Shoes
I've had these for a few weeks and love them. They fit perfectly (even though I had to make a good guess as to size), they are sturdy and stylish. And since they're from LL Bean, I know they'll last!

Runs small and sub par construction
I have been wearing these for almost 50 years and they clearly have used different manufacturers over the years, though historically they seemed more consistent. This manufacturer glues an inner sole that makes these feel very small until the inner sole is ripped out. Overall the fit and quality is sub par for Bean. I bought two pair and should return one that is unopened.
