Ultralight, ultrawarm--we made these mittens with lightweight PrimaLoft Gold® insulation that's super-compressible, so they're perfect for stashing in your bag or pocket until you need them. Pertex Quantum mini-ripstop shell is exceptionally tough and abrasion resistant.

When these down mittens arrived I was beyond disappointed. I have bought 3 pairs of down mittens from LLBean in the last 10 years and they were great in 2 degree weather. The mittens I just bought and returned were so difficult to get on and so thin that they wouldn’t be good in any winter temperature.
