I bought these for a trip to Wyoming. They weren’t didn’t keep my hands warm in Louisiana, so I didn’t use them on my trip.

Not as good as they used to be
This is my second pair, the first purchased several years ago. The older model was reasonably warm and I used them daily. These gloves are very different. The entire inside hand is covered with the non slip material. The cold air basically goes right through it. The permaloft is less insulating than the previous model. Unusable at 32 degrees even for dog walking.

Lavender pull on gloves
The lavender gloves are light and great for driving. They match a fleece jacket. They ate exactly as described and pictured. They fit well and seem true to size. I am really happy with this purchase.

What happened to LL Bean Quality
I purchased these gloves three months ago as I was looking for every day wear gloves that were warm without the bulk. Unfortunately they don't keep my hands warm in temperatures below 30 (I don't have any circulation issues that make it difficult to keep hands warm). I also opted for these gloves based on the "Pertex Quantum mini-ripstop shell is exceptionally tough and abrasion resistant" description. As you can see from the pictures this isn't at all accurate. I have only worn the gloves for regular things like walking the dog, going to/from the car, and outdoor events. It's not like I'm picking up rocks or digging for gold in them. While the instructions say to machine wash and dry them, I have only hand washed them to ensure longevity. $55 for a pair of gloves is really expensive but I was comfortable paying it because I was expecting the LL Bean quality from years ago. So much for that. $55 gloves that fall apart in three months is obscene.

Gloves are ok for walking the dog and driving . With extreme cold they are not that warm but I have other llbean gloves for that !
