Rated 5 out of 5 by from Primaloft Packaway Jacket The primaloft jacket is a perfect fit and super light too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent jacket! It’s a perfect jacket!! Comfortable through a wide range of temperatures yet very light and easy to pack. The pockets are great. The fit is excellent. The sleeve length is appropriate. I don’t know what else to say, it’s perfect! The waterproof version is next to perfect but my only criticism is it’s a little bit more like a parka and they should’ve put a two-way zipper and then it would’ve been the most perfect jacket ever! The regular jacket doesn’t need a two way zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Met expectations I bought this item for traveling due to it being able to pack into its own pocket which it does quite easily. I was a little skeptical about the warmth and wind blocking but after being able to test it her on some cold and windy days I was pretty impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Packable Jacket for the Money — Light, Warm, This is my second Primaloft Packaway Jacket from LL Bean—I previously owned the orange version—and it continues to be hands down the best packable jacket for the money. The fit is excellent: trim enough to look good, but still comfortable with layers underneath. What really stands out is how incredibly light it is while still being surprisingly warm. It handles cool to cold temperatures really well, blocks wind effectively, and even does fine with light rain. One of my favorite features is how easily it packs away into itself. It’s perfect for travel, keeping in a backpack, or just throwing in the car for those times when the weather turns or the temperature drops at night. Overall, it’s an extremely versatile jacket that covers a lot of situations—cool days, windy conditions, chilly evenings, or unpredictable weather. Lightweight, warm, and easy to pack. I liked my first one so much that buying a second was an easy decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great year round! I had to wait for this to get restocked. It was worth it love the deep pockets plus the additional ones for a cell phone… Both zippered. Lightweight and comfortable and can double as a rain jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket... but I have now owned 4 of these, so.. yes I like it. A couple of green, and now the carbon blue That said: they are fragile.. I am sooo dissapointed that I replaced my penultimate jacket that had survived several years without damage only to have the replacement get a cut in it after 3 months. $66 a month is too much.. The first generation seemed to have poorer insulation, but better wear.. My first was touched by a hot thing while camping.. not an unreasonable failure mode for nylon. My second was worn until it no longer had any crispness left. My third traveled all over the world without damage ( a great jacket if you do not know what to expect for weather.. stows wonderfully in your luggage) until I leaned against a railing or something that was apparently sharp enough to slice the shell... I did not even notice until it was pointed out to me later. Looked like a razor cut. Not pretty any more. My wife replaced it for me in january, and I had something similar happen again. I have no idea what I backed into, but I got a small slash a couple of days ago.. Will see if they can repair it, but part of the appeal of this jacket is that it is fairly 'crisp' and a repair would, in my eyes spoil that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, Pricey. A nice jacket for 30-50 F temperatures. Blocks wind, will stand up to a light sprinkle, but not serious rain. Large-tall fits well. Overly expensive (tariffs?).
