Product Details
Our most popular extra-extra-large rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Made of rugged, water-resistant fabrics, with a U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access and an innovative folding design.
Our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, recently redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a new folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 600-denier polyester on body, with 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Spot clean.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.
- U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Features small L.L.Bean logo on either side of bag.
- Outside zip pocket.
- Handles have wrap closure for comfortable carrying.
- Compression straps with side-release buckles help stabilize contents.
- Internal kickstand lets duffle stand upright for travel, then collapse for storage.

Holds a lot, but...
I purchased two of the Adventure Rolling Duffle Bags, XXL, one for my husband and one for me. We used them on a two week trip to South Africa in 2025. They held quite a lot and worked well for that trip. Fast forward a year later, once again to South Africa. Upon arriving in Johannesburg for the night, we checked into our room. I went to open my duffle and found that the zipper was broken. Not sure how it happened, whether it was from a TSA search or not, I realized it could no longer by locked. Fortunately, I was able to make it back to the states with all of my things. It certainly helped that it had the additional straps to secure the top. I'm hesitant to purchase another one for fear that it, too, will have a zipper problem. I really love the size of this duffle, and we are going back again in 2027. These were the only two trips that I used it for. I've always loved the products from LL Bean and I still have luggage that I purchased 30 years ago! So disappointed.

Very sturdy
I bought this a month ago for a trip after I realised I needed a larger bag. This was perfect!

XX-large duffel
XX-large duffel is amazing! We purchased it for a trip to Germany because we could only take one luggage for 2 people. With proper folding techniques this duffel accommodated both of our clothes nicely with room to spare. This duffel is durable and extremely well made. Highly recommend
