Our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, recently redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. - 600-denier polyester on body, with 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.

Really good bag, but with Sizing Concern
In 2023, I bought the first edition of this bag for myself, and it has held up very well under a variety of conditions. A few days ago (Aug. 2026), I bought the second edition of this bag for my daughter, and it appears to be an incremental improvement in design, construction, and materials. Nice job.
What's odd is that I bought a large in 2023, and an extra-large in 2026, and in every way they are exactly the same size even though the two products are described as having different volumes.
Also, note that the 2026 large does NOT have compression straps (as my 2023 large DOES). You need to buy the extra-large (or larger) to get those.

Not as good as the old version
It looks great and fits a lot of stuff, and it’s easy to maneuver and run through the airport with. However, I’ve only traveled with it 5 times and the seams are already coming apart. I had my last LL Bean bag for over 10 years and travelled the world. Unfortunately I am echoing what many people have said here- it’s just not the same quality as it used to be which is very disappointing.

Fantastic bag!!!
I needed a bigger bag for an extended stay somewhere to fit loads of clothes and shoes, and this bag did not disappoint- it holds a LOT. The shape and flexibility is great for fitting a ton of stuff and being able to move things around inside the bag. I fit more than I thought I’d be able to. Once it was packed up, I was concerned about the heaviness and maneuverability in the airport, train, etc. But I found that the bag was just as easy to maneuver as a regular pull-behind suitcase of any size, even a carry-on. This surprised me but I was really happy to discover how easily I could travel with such a big bag, and fit so much inside!! Recommend 110%.
