Nice lightweight coat
Bought one of these coats years ago…love the fabric (fairly soft & washes & wears well), Like the 2 sets of pockets. The flannel cotton lining is just right for moderate temps. Like the corduroy collar & cuffs. Bought this coat for my husband. Sorry to see you no longer offer this coat for women. Chest zipper pocket too small to be useable. There were quite a few loose threads, some of a darker color stitched in. Stitching was not uniform in more than one spot, like pocket corners & sleeve cuffs - a bit sloppy. Not too unsightly as we kept the coat, but not the quality control LLBean has had in the past. Should be better as LLBean is pricey these days.

Great field coat
This is the second one that I've owned. The first one lasted almost 40 years.Maybe I'm imagining things, but the new field coat's saddle color seems a bit washed out and not as yellow as my original coat and the cuffs and collar seem to be a darker green. Perhaps it's just a different dye that is being used now.Other than that, great field coat for town and country. I recommend adding extra thread to the buttons.
