SO Pleased with this coat
This coat seriously has it all. I love all of the thoughtful details that were included. It's waterproof and windproof, thick and warm without restricting movement, there are cinches for your waist and even straps so that you can take the coat off and carry it like a backpack. There are SO many pockets, inside and out. I bought this coat specifically for a trip to Norway during the dead of winter. I was north of the Arctic Circle and it kept me comfortably warm. I ordered a large to ensure bulky sweaters would fit underneath it. But, I probably could've sized down to a medium. If you're on the fence and usually wear medium coats, medium will probably work for you. If you buy nothing else, buy this coat.

These jackets are excellent
I have four of these jackets - two in this length and two that are longer. They are the warmest coats that I have ever owned - even in the coldest of temperatures. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great coat
I had a heavy-duty LL Bean coat for 30+ years, and I finally had to admit last winter that its seen too much wear and was no longer as warm as it used to be. Of course they don't make the exact coat any more for women, so I had to try a couple of different ones, and this one definitely meets my needs. It fits well and is toasty warm!
