beautiful looking, very warm
A friend wore this top and bottom not as PJ's but as her external clothing! I saw it and felt I had to have it. It looked terrific on her. She is a little overweight and I am definitely underweight. I ordered only the pants, not the top. I'm glad I got the pants. They are very warm - excellent for cold weather but the waist was too big for skinny me though I can still wear the pants.

Perfect for under ski pants
I needed a heavy weight pair of base layer pants for under my unlined ski pants and these work perfectly! I didn't need additional layers, just these plus my ski pants were sufficient for temps in the 20s. Sizing was in line with all other L.L. Bean clothes that I have. My husband says the pattern is crazy but I like it!

Great product
Love this product! Colors are beautiful! Soft & warm. Very comfortable. True to size. I’m 5’7” 150. I got a small top & med bottom. Fit snug but fit was great. Length of bottoms was long enough. Would buy again!

Dry and warm in active frigid conditions
This is easily the best heavyweight base layer that I've ever worn. I've worn these maybe 20 times since purchasing, for all sorts of activities: outdoor ice skating & skiing & walking (under my lightweight snow pants.. in temps: 0 to 30 Farhenheit) and biking in 20-30F temps (with light ripstop pants, which normally are a summer hiking pants). The material is superb and remained totally dry even during hours of downhill skiing runs and 60-90 minutes of vigorous skating. My legs never felt too hot or too cold, the temperature regulation was always just right. I am so glad I found these because I'm very active outdoors and other base layers that I've owned would inevitably get a little sweaty then I would freeze as a result, but not these ones! Thank you, LL Bean.

Too long. Otherwise OK. I have to pull them up to get them over my heals and the waist is all the way up to my bust.

WARM!
Got these on a whim. My mother's name was Aurore! So I had to think of her....! lol I never expected these to be that warm! They have some fleece in them. I can wear these out when I snow blow my driveway and when I snowshoe! They keep me warm as toast. They do run on the bigger side so if you like your leggings tighter? you may want to consider going down a size. I got size L and I do like the fit. It's more of a relaxed fit. I'm 5'5" and they go to the bottom of my ankles. These wash very well, and I air dry them!

Great but size down
Love this set! It’s very warm but as a base layer, I want it a bit tighter fitting. I’m 5’7” and 115 pounds and the smalls are a tad lose in the pants and I have a couple extra inches of length. (I usually order a small in LLBean bottoms and a medium (for length) in LLBean tops. In these I would re-order an XS in pants and a small in the top)
