Beautifully made rugged "winter" shoe
First, the challenge: getting the correct fit. The shoe runs large, good for my wide foot but I had to return a 9 for an 8.5. The heel width is a bit large, too. BUT, if you understand that this is a "winter" shoe, the kind with which you wear medium to thick socks, then the sizing makes sense. The leather and fabrication of the shoe are exceptional. It's heavy and rugged. For its purpose, it is a great shoe!

Returned twice
The quality was good but the sizing was off. I am a size 8 and they were so big they were flopping off. I returned them for a size 7. Those ended up being so painful at the end of the day that I’ll be returning them too.
