"Is this your scuba suit?"
Even though the fabric's only 2% spandex, this thing feels so plastic-fabric and stretchy that the St. Elmo's Fire line came immediately to mind. It's a shame -- the drape is good, size is fine (had to roll sleeves, no petite range), look is nice, but it just feels kind of icky and also like it won't last long. Still undecided about keeping it.
I tried on a '90s cotton/linen twill Bean shirt I've got in a similar color with a botanical print, and it's only slightly lighter weight, has that big blousy 90s cut, but otherwise I'd definitely have preferred that sort of fabric for his jacket, only heavier-weight. I'm not sure why anyone would need this much stretch for a jacket, anyway.

Good jacket, poor fit for me
I had to return this. It is cut for a short, wide person, and I am just the opposite. So it didn’t fit. But if it fit, it would have been perfect… just the right weight and style for transitional weather. Sorry it didn’t come in tall sizes.

Comfy lightweight jacket
I wanted a lightweight jacket for travel in warm weather and this one is great. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It gives me some warmth but not too much. I can easily pack it in a backpack or suitcase. So glad I found it.
