Our iconic all-weather boot, handcrafted by experts in Brunswick, Maine, and made to be worn day after day, season after season. A true original when our founder introduced them in 1912, and still a step ahead over 100 years later.
- For this style, we recommend you order a full size down from your regular shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a size 9, order a size 8.

I love my bean boots. I’ve been traveling to Freeport for over 30 years, and wanted a pair. I finally bought them. The 6 inch height is perfect for my high arch and wide foot. Thank you LLBean for making more options in height and size!!

Very sturdy!
These boots fit well and are actually comfortable. They are made well too. I won’t have to worry about replacing them in a couple of months.

6” boots
For some crazy reason, they sewed the tongue all the way up. Very hard put your foot in. I waited a long time to buy a pair, now I am returning. I won’t try another style at this point; it’s hard to tell by the description if they would be sewn the same. Ridiculous!
