Our iconic all-weather boot, handcrafted by experts in Brunswick, Maine, and made to be worn day after day, season after season. A true original when our founder introduced them in 1912, and still a step ahead over 100 years later.
- For this style, we recommend you order a full size down from your regular shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a size 9, order a size 8.

Perfect Fall/Winter Boots
These are the best boots. I have been resistant to buying these for years but finally bit the bullet and invested. They are water resistant and warm but easily can we worn with thick socks. I did size down which was the right choice.

Still the best wet weather boot
These are still great quality boots! The insoles are more structured than the original, which is a good thing. There's more arch support than I remember from my first pair in college... In 1991! My suggestion is if you have an LL Bean store near you to go in and try a variety of sizes. I ended up getting a smaller size than I originally ordered and a wide.
