We designed this versatile crewneck in a smooth, machine-washable cotton blend with a bit of cashmere for noticeable softness. Midweight construction in a melange knit makes it more substantial and perfect for changing seasons.

Cozier than a sweatshirt
I have a couple of these sweaters now and I'm gonna buy another 2 because I've found that I like wearing these more than my casual sweatshirts. It's the perfect ratio of cotton and cashmere: still plenty of structure yet with a softness that gets better over time. I cannot stand itchy sweaters or tags. The tag in this sweater almost made me wanna send it back. Actually all LL Bean tags are terrible. With these sweaters I am happy as long as I cut out the awful tags. I have to remove them with an Xacto knife bc they are sewn in unbelievably tight. why would they do a wicked soft sweater with horrible, itchy tags!? :-D Anyway, great sweaters and I'll deal with the tags.

Lovely sweater
Beautiful sweater! Soft, warm and lightweight. The light blue is a lovely shade and would look good with all skin tones. The shorter front avoids the "below the belly" line that some sweater have if one is short waisted! It is a perfect sweater for Fall or Spring when the days are cooler.
