Bring back the real/original Riverton pants.
I had bought and really liked Riverton pants for years. The updated”Rivertons” are not, as far as I’m concerned, Rivertons. They are someone’s regrettable idea of, what, an improvement? Don’t think so. Bring back the real Rivertons.

I saw that this product had mixed reviews. I have the old style and love them. I decided to give the new ones a try. I returned them within a day.

Missing pocket.
I miss the pocket on the right leg/thigh, as I used it along with the pocket on the left leg.

Old material was 5 star, new material is 2 stars
Please bring back the old Riverton pant material.
This new material is stiff and loud/noisy when you walk even after a lot of use.

Love the Rivertons
I really like these pants. They fit good and are rugged. It’s too bad they stopped offering the flannel lines Rivertons- those were both warm and comfortable and also rugged.

Exactly what I was looking for
I wanted a pair of casual pants with the same 50/50 Cotton/Nylon blend as my old BDUs, but without the military look. This was as close as I could find under $100. My wife and I have a standing date to go hiking then wine tasting. These pants are great for both.

New design Riverton pants a step backward
This is my fifth pair of Riverton pants, but the first since the redesign. Overall, it’s a step backward. The material is slightly different. A little more wrinkled, but not bad. The big drawback is The phone pocket that used to be on the side right leg is now on the back left leg. It can interfere with bending of the knee. Also, most people are right handed, making it more difficult to access on the left back. These pants are never at a discounted price. The value has been going down.
