Poor quality for the price
I really love LL Bean products but this pack is just not up to the standard I associate with their brand. Just like other commenters, the top strap broke within a few days and I never even picked the bag up by the top strap. The overall quality and stitching is not what I associate with LL Bean. I'm a little disappointed because I've had some of their backpacks before and that lasted years but this one tore right away after just a few days. All I did was walk to work and set in on my desk when not in use. Some nice things are the color and size of the bag is great and I like the front pocket (great for wet umbrellas). I am returning this bag because I am usually okay paying the prices for LL Bean in exchange for quality and durability but this bag is just not worth it.

I bought this for my Granddaughter. She picked it out and the color is just what she wanted. Also roomie enough for all her supplies for school. I know it will last several years as they have in the past. Well worth the price. Keep up the good work!!
