Good and not quite as good things for my use
Well the good is they seem well made so far and the tread is ok when it is new for the ice / mud. They do not leak. The things I wish were different are mostly that I am not sure how well the tread will wear, the heel is somewhat narrow so they roll a bit and the tongue is on the outside so the way the laces tie is weird / uncomfortable. They are kind of garish but they were on sale so, you know... I purchased a size 13 and was able to tie the leather laces to account for my narrow feet. I use it for daily chores with animals in the yard / field / barn in Virginia. They are lighter than my boots and not as slippery as Crocs. They seem to be well insulated from the cold ground. I have not walked out of them yet in the mud but I think that is coming as you can either tighten them so they stay on or let them be a bit looser to let you slip them on and I usually like to slip them on.

A Bean Boot story 20 years in the Making!
I just got my second pair of Bean Boots Rubber Mocs. My first pair lasted over 20 years! I literally wore the heel and sole off. The quality of the new pair is just as good as my old pair which is a testament to LL Bean’s commitment to quality.

Still the Same Great Shoe
Comment about buying one size smaller than your normal shoe size is good advice. I only went 1/2 size smaller and they are a little big, but still comfortable.

Overhyped, underwhelming
I waited for years to finally buy a pair of the mocs and am underwhelmed. Despite ordering a full size down from your actual shoe size per LL Bean recommendation, the mocs are still too big. Plus, the leather lace snapped on my first wearing. I can not seem to make them tight enough on my foot to avoid an overly loose "flip flop" effect. I am seriously bummed because I love LL Bean products and am still brand loyal. But the moc is a big miss for me. I will say the orange soles are a good look.

Pay Attention To Size Recommendations
These shoes are well built. I have been wearing LL Bean boots for over 40 years. My first pair of Rubber Mocs.
Pay attention to the sizing recommendation's. I usually wear an 8/12 regular width. After trying on several pairs at the local store, I settled on a pair of dark brown 7 wide. I plan to wear these with a thicker sock in the fall/winter/spring. They will be great for light snow/slush.
