The family according to L L Bean
Fabric is very nice, soft to the touch, launders well and when lightly pressed with a cool iron, it retains its ironed look. At the end of the day you look as fresh as you looked in the morning.
The fit is just L L Bean correct for 3X . It doesn’t bind, but it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a tent!
In addition to good looks and good fit, you’re buying it from L L Bean. If there is EVER a problem anything you buy here you are not left holding the bag
As I’ve mentioned in a previous review, our family history with L L Bean goes back to my Grandfather.
Harry bought his Maine Hunting Shoes in the early 1930’s and relied on Beans for hunting and camping gear for the rest of his life. After his passing we found every Bean catalog he ever received carefully preserved. They provided him with many hours of contentment of a winter evening.
Eventually our family moved to the great State of Maine, less than 30 miles from Freeport , very nice.
Whenever we hosted guests from “away”, a trip to Freeport , which we called” Beanville” was always a big part of the fun.
Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, camping supplies, home goods, hunting equipment, the Bean has this
Going to get a couple more of these.

Looks sharp
I bought a second in a different color for my husband. It's sturdy material and construction keeps him looking sharp, while being comfortable.

Great look and fit.
Love, love the shirt. I am disappointed that I could no longer find the same shirt online in different colors. I bought blue and green.

"may need ironing"???
Guess I didn't know what "twill" was, but these shirts definitely need ironing. "may need ironing" was a joke on the label. These are going to the Thrift Store

Light and Comfortable
The fabric on this shirt is lightweight and has a nice soft touch to it. Fit is true to size. No tails, wear non-tucked in. Nice shirt.

Nice fabric upgrade.
Very nice fabric. Should hold up better than the canvas. Two negatives…button holes are small so buttons are hard to fasten. Also, no small hole at the flap over the left pocket for pen or glasses.

Just a bit too large
My 2xl is more like 3xl.
Maybe it'll fit better after it's washed and ironed?

Super nice top👍🏼
First off I thought this was the sun washed canvas shirt, pleasantly surprised to find it was Tencel when I recieved it. The bright blue is stunning and the fit is absolutely perfect. Just one of those dhirst that you immediately look good in. I like the little LL Bean embroidered label on the hem, nice touch. Also the un-tucked hem is great.
