I would buy this in more colors if the pockets were deeper and if there were at least one zippered pocket. Without better pockets it’s really not a good pair of shorts for outdoor activities or travel.

Perfect summer shorts
My second pair! I wore the first pair for eight summers before accidentally leaving them on a trip. They were my favorite shorts and I was delighted to find them again on the LLBean website. They just don't wear out, scrunch into a small packing space, and feel like they mold to my body. Lots of pockets for phone and necessities when I'm biking and hiking. Honestly, I couldn't get through a summer without my greenies. Thanks, LLBean!

Great Shorts
I like the feel of the material. Easy to care for, Length is just what I was looking for.
The only thing I could do without is the waist drawstring, I may end up cutting it out later.

My New Favorute
The Mountainside Short is my new favorite, a very nice-looking replacement for the Comfort Trail Short. At 5 ft 2 in and 117 lbs, I wear both in size 6, but the Mountainside Short is a slimmer, less baggy fit. The fabric is light-weight and stretchy and very comfortable. . My one complaint is that the snap closure on the two flapped lower leg pockets of the Mountainside Short is harder to open and close than the zipper on the single lower leg pocket of the Comfort Trail Short.
